TerraFirma has successfully completed the installation of the deepwell dewatering system for the Dever Justice Center project in Denver, Colorado. Hensel Phelps contracted TerraFirma to design and install the system for the project.

The system consists of 10 deepwell installed in a 36″ borehole, drilled using a bucket style drill rig. Each well is made of 12″ casing, and uses a 7.5hp electrical submersible pump. Eight wells were drilled around the north and east limits of excavation, and two installed in the interior of the project.

TerraFirma is proud to work with Hensel Phelps Construction Corp., who will be maintaining and operating the system with TerraFirma’s assistance, to work hard towards completing the Dever Justice Center safely and effeciently.

TerraFirma is now licensed by the state of Nevada. We look forward to working with Nevada contractors, and bringing our experience and expertise to design solutions for their groundwater control issues.
